The 11th Macau European Chamber of Commerce Gala Dinner “Waves of Portugal”
The Quest
The MECC annual dinner is definitely one of the most eye-catching occasions among all the chambers’ events in Macau. We have received the invitation to take part in the following areas : invite and manage the nomination for the European Excellence Awards, sponsorship, show production and guest relations.
Solution
We have outreached and successfully invited a number of brands to compete in different categories for the European Excellence Awards.
On sponsorship, we have also achieved a record of a total (3-4) organizations and corporate to join the annual dinner.
We also took the lead to support the show production, emcee coordination and guest relations & reception.
Happening
The dinner was held on 16 May 2025 at Grand Lisboa Palace, SJM, S.A.
Following MECC traditions, a cocktail session prior to dinner was held at the foyer, seasoned with impersonators mingling around. The evening started with speeches by major sponsor, MECC Chairman and Guest of Honour; followed with official photo opportunity, Awards presentation, a Key Note by Engª. Marisa Lameiras da Silva, Director-General of Maritime Policy. The lucky draw session was one of the highlights of the night, accompanied by a live music trio playing till the end of the dinner.
Achievement
Over 300 guests attended the MECC Annual Dinner and both the committee and guests have given us much positive feedbacks and compliments, setting an even higher benchmark for similar events in Macau.
